Casilda wants to use her power, wealth, and influence to make the world a better place. But when she and fiance Max attempt to build their vision of an idyllic retreat commune in a remote jungle region of Mexico, she finds their dream overwhelmed by menacing forces.

Casilda, born into wealth, has spent her money on helping to make the world a better place. Together with her fiancé, Max, they are building a commune for the working class and elite peoples alike. A place to reconnect with nature, history, and wellness. They’re perfect location is even built around an ancient Aztec temple. Two weeks before the soft opening, Casilda arrives to find they are months behind and Max is completely overwhelmed. A mystery unfolds around her; women workers around the commune watch Casilda’s every move, tight lipped business men go silent every time she appears, and Max is too distracted to notice any of it. When a woman kills herself in front of Casilda, she is forced to admit that something is seriously wrong. By the time Casilda understands the mess she and Max are in, it’s too late. In fact, she’s the key piece to the puzzle.
