Kayla, a young woman who has become homeless, sets off to claim a beach shack in an isolated cove, hoping to put down some roots. When Omid, a young man on the run from Immigration arrives, he threatens her plan, and Kayla wants him gone. Then of course they fall in love, but just as they begin to imagine a shared future together, Omid betrays Kayla’s trust. Kayla reports Omid, extinguishing his last hope. Kayla soon realises her love for him is stronger than her insecurity, but is she too late?
